Rooted in Windsor

From land to
lasting places.

The company began in Windsor in 1990, when Martin and Viki Lind founded Trollco, Inc.—a total land utilization company that would later become The Water Valley Company.

Led by Martin Lind’s conviction that overlooked land could become something meaningful, the company grew across development, real estate, resort-style neighborhoods, championship golf, dining, hospitality, entertainment, and recreation. Its work is connected by one idea: a place should be more than a collection of buildings. It should give people reasons to belong there.

Water Valley was the first large expression of that idea. RainDance carried it into a farm-inspired residential community. Pelican Lakes and RainDance National shaped distinctive golf experiences, while restaurants and gathering places brought everyday life into the larger vision. Cascadia represents the company’s continuing ambition to imagine what a complete Northern Colorado destination can become.

Meet Marissa
Donahoo.

Martin Lind’s daughter, Marissa brings family history, real estate experience, and an entrepreneur’s curiosity to every Water Valley Voice conversation.

A licensed Colorado real estate broker and Vice President of Real Estate at The Water Valley Company, Marissa works across land, commercial, and residential opportunities in Northern Colorado. She also co-founded JUMA Homes with her husband, Justin, creating distinctive custom homes rooted in thoughtful design.

She is also an owner of Four Carat Vodka, a Colorado premium spirits brand known for its diamond-inspired bottles. On the podcast, those overlapping perspectives—family, place-making, real estate, hospitality, and business—help her draw out the people and decisions behind the Water Valley story.
